Todos Santos Jun 20

Just about halfway between Cabo San Lucas and La Paz, there is a magical and colorful town, a refuge for hippies, artists and farmers: Todos Santos. It has an oasis with abundance of fruit crops (particularly mango, papaya and avocado) that allows the proliferation of palm trees and other vegetation other than that of the prevailing dry forests in the vicinity. There are several beaches nearby with strong waves ideal for surfing. The tourists can enjoy the warmth of the inhabitants that are used to live in pace, enjoying and taking care of nature and taking part of the cultural diversity of their community. In a stroll through its streets you can admire the colonial architecture that still preserves buildings of the nineteenth century, like the “Casa de la Cultura”, the beautiful church and many art galleries and craft shops. more…

La Venta Jun 15

La Venta is the main archaeological site of the Olmec culture, that had its apogee between 900 b. C. 400 b. C. and it is estimated that the site had a population of at least 1,800 people. It is situated on an island in the middle of the swampy region that forms the Tonala River, which forms the border between Tabasco and Veracruz. The surface of the island is just 5.2 km². In the center of the island, the buildings form a square with a pyramid located in the main center, surrounded by mounds and monuments. The most important structure of this site is a pyramid built of mud, has a height of 31 meters. The recent excavations show that the Pyramid was staggered. more…

Manzanillo Jun 03

Manzanillo is one of the most beautiful beach destinations in Mexico. It is located in the state of Colima, in the region of the Pacific Coast. In a walk through the streets of the center of the town visitors can find many restaurants offering traditional dishes from the place, some markets where people can buy all kinds of crafts, as well as the breakwater, where it is possible to admire the “Monument to Sailfish”, since Manzanillo is known as the sailfish capital of the world, because many national and international fishing tournaments take place here.
